The Toronto Argonauts took a step towards keeping their powerhouse defensive line together by re-signing 27-year-old Canadian DT Fabion Foote.
There was a ton of excitement surrounding the signing of Foote in the offseason, but the Montreal native spent most of the 2021 season on the suspended list. He returned for Toronto’s final three games.
This leaves Cordarro Law and Drake Nevis as Toronto’s only unsigned defensive linemen, but the Argos now have three Canadian stars in that positional group with Foote, Sam Acheampong, and Robbie Smith under contract for 2022.
